Dave was born and raised in Gloucester and when he finished school started an apprenticeship with Gloucester City Council in the housing department. He worked for the local authority for 5 years, working in allocations as well as homelessness. Dave then moved to a local housing association, working in various housing management and lettings roles and carried out around 1500 lettings on a range of properties and tenure types. Dave now works for a Gloucestershire charity managing their property portfolio.
